Launched in 2017 and now nearing completion, this sci-fi-inspired, futuristic architectural marvel has drawn global attention for its unique, innovative design and multi-functionality.
Many people know that Tencent's headquarters is in Shenzhen, but few realize that WeChat was created and developed in Guangzhou.
In the Pazhou Internet Innovation Cluster of Guangzhou, this masterpiece, designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, serves as both WeChat's headquarters and Tencent's Guangzhou office.

The Tencent Guangzhou Headquarters building stands 207 meters tall, with 39 floors. As one of the landmark buildings in Guangzhou's core district, the Tencent Guangzhou headquarters, along with other major internet giants in Pazhou, faces Zhujiang New Town and Guangzhou International Finance Center across the Pearl River, forming the Golden Triangle of Guangzhou's central district.
It is reported that Jean Nouvel deeply integrated eco-friendly concepts into the design. The spacious terraces and floating gardens are like oases within the city, providing employees with opportunities to get close to nature.
Additionally, the designer cleverly conceived a green landscape axis that extends to the banks of the Pearl River. This not only creates expansive views for the building, but also offers Guangzhou residents a city square that combines commerce and entertainment.
