Hengqin buses to undergo random inspections upon island exit, starting Feb. 27th

On February 24, Zhuhai City Bus Company Limited announced a comprehensive testing process for cross-district bus routes via Hengqin Bridge in support of stress testing the "Second Line" channel of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

Therefore, starting from February 27th, certain buses will be subject to random inspections when leaving the island.

Tested Routes:

11 routes, including Bus No. 14 (Chimelong Night Line), 62, 86, 87, 88, K10, K11 (Chimelong Night Line, Peak-hour Section Line), G80, Qin T88, N20, and Hengqin Chimelong Sightseeing Line.

Island Exit Procedure:

l Buses selected for inspection should drop off passengers before the entrance of the inspection area;

l Buses will proceed to the large bus passenger waiting area, after the inspection is complete;

l All passengers, along with their luggage, will walk to the "Second Line Channel North" bus boarding area for a free transfer off the island.

Boarding Guidelines:

Buses that are not selected for inspection can leave directly the island.

Chosen buses for inspection should drop off passengers before the inspection area, and passengers should enter the island departure hall, walking to the "Second Line Channel North" for boarding.

Important Points:

If the bus is selected for inspection, passengers should follow the guidance of on-site staff and pass through the designated area.

If carrying duty-free items, please disembark at the "Second Line Channel South" station, enter the island departure hall, and voluntarily declare them to customs (not applicable during the testing period).
