For the National Day holiday, Yunfu City, with its unique charm, has planned a series of cultural, tourism, and sports activities to create memorable experiences for the public.

Music shows
From September 28 to October 7, a series of activities will take place on East and West Streets in Yuncheng District. The details are as follows:
1. Market opening activities: Art performances, anime flash mobs, street music shows, etc.
2. Music shows: Street music shows, street band shows, Cen Yuqiao live-streaming, nostalgic open-air movies, etc.

Dragon boat races
From October 2 to 3, Luoding will host a series of dragon boat races as part of the first Guangdong Provincial Agricultural Sports Games.
On the morning of October 2, there will be a series of dragon boat-related activities, including the dragon boat parade, races, and the opportunity to taste special cuisine traditionally associated with the dragon boat races. On the morning of October 3, the second round of dragon boat timing races and the competition for the first, second, and third places will take place, with a spectacular aerial acrobatics performance during the intermission.

Purple clay exhibition
The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Yunfu City. To celebrate such a "milestone" moment, from September 27 to October 8, the planning exhibition hall of Guangdong Zen Culture Creative Industry Park in Xinxing County will hold a purple clay exhibition integrating purple clay craftsmanship and Zen culture. The event, serving as a platform for cultural exchanges, aims to revitalize Yunfu's rural areas through the innovative development of its cultural industry.
Dragon and lion dances, and Wushu performances
On October 2, a dragon and lion dance parade will be held at the Maiguan Culture and Media Museum in Duyang Town, Yun'an District, Yunfu City. The event aims to promote excellent traditional Chinese culture through Wushu, dragon, and lion dance performances. Around 20 teams will participate in the event.

Themed activities in tourist attractions
During the National Day holiday, various tourist spots in Yunfu will actively launch exciting themed activities.
The Freely Hover Golden Shuitai Hot Spring Town will host a carnival with innovative activities themed around the Monkey King and other Chinese fantasy culture IPs. The Yuetianxia Ecological Resort will organize Venice-themed activities, including family rowing competitions, an electronic music party, and fireworks displays. The Xiangwo Mountain Ecological Park will hold a special hiking event, where participants will go through the Zen Tea Square, Cured Meat Factory, and Yiziding Tea Garden. In addition, a lucky draw is waiting for you to win gift bonuses. Zen Town will host activities such as Baixi, a molten "iron flower" fireworks show, and a bonfire party.
Guangdong Tianlu Mountain Tourist Resort will organize activities such as a bonfire party and acrobatics centered around the traditional ethnic culture of the Wa ethnic group, stunt performances, and cosplay events.
Activities in cultural facilities
During the National Day holiday, cultural facilities across Yunfu will organize a range of exciting cultural activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Yunfu's establishment. For example, Yunfu Library will hold an exhibition on Yunfu's history and culture, an exhibition on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and a storytelling event; Yunfu Museum will host an exhibition of precious ceramics and a seal carving experience activity.
