On August 14, Guangzhou reported 1 new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 case. The patient was a close contact of a confirmed case from other province.
Shenzhen reports 1 new confirmed case
On August 14, Shenzhen reported 1 new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 case who was converted from an asymptomatic case. The case was detected in the screening of key passengers coming from other provinces and has been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for isolation and treatment in stable condition.
Zhanjiang detects 8 new confirmed cases and 4 asymptomatic infections
On August 14, Zhanjiang reported 8 new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and 4 asymptomatic cases. 1 confirmed case was converted from an asymptomatic case. All the cases were detected from the key population associated with the outbreak in Leizhou on August 4. They have been sent to the designated hospital in Zhanjiang for isolation and treatment.
