A new cold snap is forecasted to influence Guangdong from March 5, bringing an average drop in temperatures of 4-6℃ and reducing humidity, according to the provincial meteorological service.

The cold front is expected to arrive in the northern part of Guangdong in the evening of March 5, and then affect the southern coastal areas during the daytime of March 6.
On March 5, the north-central areas will be overcast with periods of clouds and scattered light rain. Other regions will be cloudy to overcast.
On March 6 and 7, most parts of the province will be overcast with scattered light rain. Low temperatures will range from 11-13℃ in northern Guangdong, 16-20℃ in the southern regions, and 13-16℃ in the remaining areas.
On March 8, the western part of Guangdong will be overcast with periods of clouds and light rain. Other regions will be cloudy to overcast. Low temperatures will range from 9-12℃ in northern Guangdong, 16-20℃ in the southern regions, and 12-16℃ in the remaining areas.
