​Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage event kicks off in Nansha

The 2023 Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Promoting Event kicked off in Nansha District on June 10, marking Cultural and Natural Heritage Day in China.

The event is taking place from June 10 to 12, when residents can visit exhibitions, watch performances, shop at street markets, and take part in local water sports to experience the intangible cultural heritages of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

"We had fun participating in the dragon boat paddling activity," Slava, a Russian engineer working in Nansha, told GDToday that he knew about the event from the international community and took part in the dragon boat race on June 10 with his colleagues.
