In the women's 10m platform final, Quan Hongchan, the champion of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, won the gold medal. Quan got 6 perfect marks in 207C and eventually won the championship with a total score of 458.20. China's Chen Yuxi won the silver medal, and Britain's Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix won the bronze.

Quan said that she only wanted to focus on herself in the game, and did not pay attention to the score and the opponent's performance. "Now I train hard every day, and do my best in the competition," she said.
In the previous women's double 10m platform final, Quan Hongchan and her teammate Chen Yuxi ranked first in five rounds and won the gold medal with a total score of 378.60 points, 61.92 points ahead of the second place.

Chen Yiwen, another diving world champion from Guangdong, also set a record in the games. She won the gold medal in the women's 3-meter springboard with a high score of 404.7 points, creating her personal best. Chen has also become the fifth Chinese female springboard athlete to score more than 400 points besides Guo Jingjing, Wu Minxia, He Zi, and Shi Tingmao.

The last event of this World Cup was the team competition. Chen Yiwen, Wang Zongyuan, Chen Yuxi, and Yang Hao of the Chinese team won the gold medal with 489.25 points. The Canadian team won the silver medal, and the Australian team won the bronze medal.

The World Aquatics Diving World Cup in Montreal is the second stop of the Diving World Cup 2023, with participants from more than 20 countries and regions. The first stop ended in Xi'an, China, last month. So far, the Chinese team has won all the gold medals in the two stops. From August 4 to 6, the Diving World Cup finals, the last international competition of this year, will be held in Berlin, Germany.
