Weekend fun! Experience live action role-playing in this museum

Have you ever played Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) in a museum? Do you want to experience the life of a once famous person? In Guangdong's Jiangmen Museum, also known as Jiangmen Wuyi Museum of Overseas Chinese, people can dress up in 1940s' Chinese costumes and enjoy the happy time of being a detective with friends!

Jiangmen Museum has rolled out some creative LARP games in recent years, such as Chinatown Stories (华埠风云) and Homeland (家园). All game plots are designed on the basis of cultural relics and real historical events displayed in the museum. People therefore can acquire historical knowledge during the games.

Visitors can play the game in fives. Everyone gets a script for the game. And you have to fully play this role, regardless of your own age and background. During the game, players can talk freely and find clues in the museum. Most of the clues can be exchanged, traded, and collected without being known by others. At the end of the session, all players need to find out who is the "real murderer".

According to Jiangmen Museum, the LARP games are free and accepts phone reservation (Contact: 0750-3936219). Appointments can be made from Tuesday to Sunday (9:00 am to 3:30 pm). If you need English service, please contact the museum in advance.

Additionally, the technology of VR panoramic view is used to meet the demand for museum tours during the epidemic. By simply scanning the code below, a scene of the digitized museum spreads out before us.
