August 23 and 27 respectively marks the birthday month for Xing Yi and Ya Yi, Guangzhou Zoo's beloved giant panda siblings. To celebrate their 11th birthday this year, the zoo hosted a special birthday party on the morning of August 27.
The party featured the "braving the waves" theme for Xing Yi, complete with a "birthday cruise" made from winter melon, a fruit cake, and bamboo wind chimes.

Xingyi attracts many tourists as he enjoys his birthday meal.
Ya Yi, on the other hand, received a vibrant and romantic fruit flower wall as her gift. The wall, decorated with colorful flowers, watermelons, apples, and other fruits and vegetables, symbolized abundance and prosperity. Above the exhibit, a bamboo sieve painted with Ya Yi's image added a touch of ceremony to the occasion.

Visitors join in the celebrations through educational booths, commemorative stamps, and interactive games, sharing the joy of the pandas' birthdays.
The father of the siblings is Yong Yong while Xing Yi's mother is Xing Rong, and Ya Yi's mother is Xing Ya.
Xing Yi has a sharp snout, a round head, and white fur on his feet. He is handsome, with a gentle and calm personality, skilled at climbing trees, and enjoys sitting on his "exclusive throne" while eating heartily.
Ya Yi has a round face with long, curled eyelashes, a narrow black band around the shoulders, a sweet appearance, and is lively and active. She excels at exploring various enrichment activities and enjoys swinging and "aerial yoga."
