Enjoy concerts, movies, night jogging, hide-and-seek, and more in the parks... Recently, Shenzhen has launched its Park Summer Carnival.
The Shenzhen Parks will host two concerts featuring local music and emerging campus vocal talents. The first concert will be held from 17:30 to 18:30 on July 20th at Bijia Mountain Sports Park, and the second on August 10th at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Park during the same time slot.
From 15:30 to 19:00 on August 10th and 11th, the Kite Square of Lianhuashan Park will transform into a vibrant hub with art exhibitions, sports activities, music performances, and a mouth-watering food market.
From July 19th to August 25th, there will be movie screenings in the parks every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 19:00 to 20:30. It will be a leisure to gather with friends at Lianhuashan Park, Bijia Mountain Sports Park, Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park, Lizhi Park, Shenzhen Bay Park, or People's Park to enjoy a magical midsummer night under the stars, accompanied by a food market.
Every Saturday from July to August, from 19:00 to 21:00, Lizhi Park, Shenzhen Bay Park, People's Park, and more will host "Park Night Jogging & Hide-and-Seek", inviting everyone to run freely in urban green spaces and make new friends. To register for the activity, you can search for the "Shenzhen iPark (深i公园)" mini-program on WeChat, tap the "event calendar (活动日历)", and select the desired date and activity.
Additionally, from July 19th, 2024, to January 19th, 2025, an exhibition featuring over 200 bird paintings by artists nationwide will be held in the Yuxiu Garden of Lianhuashan Park, offering citizens an immersive exploration of the avian world.
