Power restored after brief outages reported across downtown Guangzhou

At around 8 PM on March 17, multiple residents in Guangzhou reported temporary blackouts in several restaurants, commercial areas and residential buildings across Tianhe, Yuexiu, and Haizhu Districts.

In response, the Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau stated that around 7:47 PM on March 17, voltage fluctuations caused momentary power flickers in parts of Tianhe, Haizhu, and Yuexiu Districts, but the situation has since returned to normal. Due to these fluctuations, some users experienced low-voltage trips, leading to brief power cuts. The power company provided immediate assistance to restore electricity.

The exact cause of the voltage fluctuation is still under investigation by the Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau.
