The second session of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress will be held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Conference Center on the morning of January 23 and will last for three days to conclude on the afternoon of January 25, according to a press conference held on January 19.
The legislature will
Hear and deliberate the work report of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government;
Review and approve the report on the implementation of Guangdong Province's 2023 National Economic and Social Development Plan, the report on the 2024 draft plan, and the 2024 National Economic and Social Development Plan;
Review the report on the implementation of Guangdong Province's 2023 budget and the report on the 2024 draft budget and the draft budget, and approve the implementation of Guangdong Province's budget in 2023 and the report on the 2024 draft budget and the 2024 provincial budget;
Hear and deliberate the work report of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, the High People's Court of Guangdong Province, and the People's Procuratorate of Guangdong Province.
