Asymptomatic case 1 in Guangzhou: A female, 38 years old, living in Kuangquan Subdistrict, Yuexiu District (越秀区矿泉街道), was a close contact with the asymptomatic case reported on September 18. The case was detected during centralized quarantine, with a negative nucleic acid result on September 20, and a positive result on the morning of September 21.
Asymptomatic case 2 in Guangzhou: A female, 58 years old, living in Beijing Subdistrict, Yuexiu District (越秀区北京街道), received health management at home after having visited the same places as the asymptomatic case reported on September 18. The individual tested positive on September 21, and was later re-checked positive. After that, the case was transferred to Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital for isolation treatment under closed-loop management.

During 7:00-11:00, 15:00-20:00 on September 19, and the same periods on September 20, people who have been to McDonald's (Jiangnan Dadao South Store), Huipu Center (No. 408, Jiangnan Dadao South, Haizhu District) should report to the community (village), conduct "two tests in three days" and health monitoring, according to a notice released by Haizhu COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Center on September 21.
