According to the Department of Commerce of Guangdong, the 2022 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the GBA will be held both online and offline in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao on December 21.
In addition to the themed conference, it will launch 9 investment promotion events in the cities of Pearl River Delta, and a variety of overseas promotion activities.
Over the past month, the conference has held 20 overseas investment promotion activities in 18 countries in Europe, the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.
According to statistics, from January to October this year, Guangdong has used 154.67 billion RMB of foreign capital, up 3.3 percent year on year. The actual utilization of foreign capital in the manufacturing industry was 38.58 billion RMB, accounting for 24.9 percent of the total.
Next year, Guangdong plans to hold more than 15 investment promotion events in Europe, the United States, the Asia-Pacific region and RCEP countries.
In January, 2023, the province will organize enterprises to attract investment in Germany, France and other European countries, focusing on electronic information, new-energy vehicles, bio-medicine, chemical and food industries.
