A strong cold air will bring Guangdong into a rapid cooling by 8℃-15℃ from the night of November 29, according to the provincial meteorological observatory.
The cold wave is expected enter the northern Guangdong during the daytime of November 29 and arrive in Guangzhou in the early hours of November 30. There will be an average temperature drop of 12℃-15℃ in the central-northern areas of the province, 8℃-12℃ in the south.
The lowest temperature will appear in the morning of December 1 and 2, with 3℃ to 5℃ forecast for the northern Guangdong and 8℃ in downtown Guangzhou.

Under the influence of strong cold air, the weather in Guangdong from November 29 to December 2 will be cloudy and cold with light and localized moderate rain in the central and northern cities and counties, scattered light rain in other cities and counties.
On November 29, it is advised to wear coats when going outside in northern Guangdong. Short sleeves are okey during the day in southern cities and counties. Long sleeves are recommended in the rest of the areas. On November 30, it is recommended to wear a jacket or a coat in Guangdong.
