Influenced by the easterly waves, southern Guangdong will see thundershowers with localized rainstorms from September 7 to 9, accompanied by a slight decline in temperatures, according to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
On Tuesday (September 6), east Guangdong will be cloudy to rainy with localized heavy rain. Other areas will be sunny to cloudy with localized thundershowers. The highs will be 33 ℃ to 35 ℃ in most parts of the province, and 36 ℃ to 37 ℃ in certain areas.
On Wednesday (September 7), east Guangdong, the southern and central Pearl River Delta will see thundershowers with localized rainstorms. The rest of the province will be cloudy to overcast with scattered or localized thundershowers. The highs will be 31℃ to 35℃.
On Thursday (September 8), west Guangdong, the southern and central Pearl River Delta will see thundershowers with localized rainstorms. The rest of the province will experience a cloudy-to-overcast day with possible scattered rainstorms. The highs will be 31℃ to 34℃.
It's also forecast that rainy weather is on the way to lash Guangzhou over the next 7 days.
