Influenced by a relatively weak cold wave, Guangdong is to have a slight temperature drop and overcast skies from January 3 to 6, according to the provincial meteorological observatory.

The lowest temperature was recorded in Zhaoqing’s Guangning County on Monday morning and reached 4.8℃. As of 17:00 Tuesday, Guangdong has issued 6 cold warnings, all of which are in the north of the province.
On January 4, most parts of Guangdong are to see cloudy skies. The lows will be 6-10℃ in the north, 12-15℃ in the south and 11-13℃ in the rest areas.
On January 5, most parts of Guangdong will be sunny to cloudy. The lows will be 7-10℃ in the north, 12-15℃ in the south and 10-12℃ in the rest areas.
January 6 will still be a sunny-to-cloudy day for most of the province. The lows will be 6-10℃ in the north, 13-16℃ in the south and 11-13℃ in the rest areas.
