On the afternoon of September 12, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce held a symposium with multinational corporations in Beijing. The event aimed to strengthen communication and cooperation between Guangdong and global multinational enterprises in the service trade sector, while exploring new opportunities for future collaboration.
Nearly 20 senior representatives from internationally renowned multinational companies, including Amazon, Hitachi, TÜV Rheinland, and ABB, participated in the conference, covering key service trade sectors such as finance, consulting, healthcare, e-commerce, international logistics, and inspection and testing.
During the meeting, participating companies exchanged insights on technological innovations, investment plans in China, and their intention to cooperate with Guangdong.
Zhang Jinsong, Director General of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, introduced Guangdong as China's leading economic province and populated region, boasting a vast market scale, comprehensive industrial system, excellent business environment, and superior living environment.
Zhang welcomed multinationals to invest and reinvest in Guangdong. He assured that Guangdong will continue to create a first-class business environment characterized by market-oriented principles, the rule of law, and international standards. With more open policies, an improved industrial structure, and comprehensive facilitated service, Guangdong aims to provide multinationals with a better quality of life, development opportunities, and an entrepreneurial environment.
