On the evening of Jan 14, Zhuhai reported 7 COVID19 positive cases, including 1 confirmed and 6 asymptomatic. Gene sequencing preliminarily shows that they are infected with Omicron.
They belong to the same transmission chain. On Jan 13, a local case was reported in Tanzhou town, Zhongshan. Zhuhai then started mass nucleic acid testing.
