On August 2nd, two Rolls-Royce Trent 700 aircraft engines were delivered to Sichuan Airlines Co., Ltd in Chengdu, under the cooperation of two companies from the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, the Hengqin Jintou International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Hengqin Jintou Leasing) and Hengqin Xiaoyi Aircraft Technology Co., Ltd. This marks the completion of Hengqin's first aircraft engine leasing transaction.
Multiple phases involved in this project, such as aircraft de-leasing, aircraft repositioning, aircraft delivery, certification, and project financing disbursement, were completed within two months with the coordinated effort of all parties.
Aircraft engine leasing is a prominent sector in financial leasing, often involving international transactions across the aviation transport, aircraft and engine manufacturing, and maintenance industries. This type of leasing is known for its complex transaction structures and high degree of internationalization.
By utilizing the "Hengqin + Macao" leasing synergy model to advance the development of the aircraft leasing industry, Hengqin Jintou Leasing is facilitating the overseas circulation of domestic aircraft assets and supporting the international expansion of Chinese-made aircraft.
