According to the Central Meteorological Observatory of CMA, Typhoon "Kong-rey" is set to impact the southeastern coastal regions of Guangdong, disrupting rail services in the affected areas. China Railway Guangzhou Group is actively monitoring satellite data and adjusting train schedules as needed based on the typhoon's reach.
Measures to mitigate disruption include speed restrictions, schedule adjustments, and temporary service suspensions along key routes such as the Hangzhou-Shenzhen and Zhangzhou-Longyan lines.

Services on October 31, including
◆ K230 from Xiamen North to Kunming
◆ D7432 from Shenzhen North to Chaoshan,
◆ D7180 from Shenzhen North to Shantou,
◆ D2308 from Shenzhen North to Fuzhou South,
◆ D2421 from Dongguan South to Shanghai Hongqiao,
among others—totaling 20 train pairs—will be suspended.

Approximately 104 high-speed trains are expected to be suspended, with an additional 57 services affected on November 1. Primarily affected are high-speed trains departing from stations such as Shenzhen North, Shantou, Guangzhou East, Chaoshan, and Dongguan South toward destinations including Fuzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai.

12 high-speed train services to destinations such as Shantou have been added and resumed, including routes between Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Shantou, Chaoshan, comprising two trains from Guangzhou South to Shantou, four from Shenzhen North to Shantou (Chaoshan), and six from Guangzhou East to Shantou.
