A moderate thunderstorm is forecast to go through Guangdong from north to south from the afternoon of April 14 to the morning of April 15, according to the Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
From the afternoon of April 15 to April 16, most of the province will be cloudy to sunny, with a great temperature difference between day and night.

Lows in the morning of April 16 will drop by 2℃ ~ 4℃ compared with that of April 15.
Detailed forecast
During the day on April 14, the weather in Shaoguan, Qingyuan, and Zhaoqing will be overcast to moderate thunderstorms and localized heavy rain, while the rest of the province will see cloudy skies with overcast spells and scattered showers. Most places are to experience light fog in the morning and night. Morning lows will be 17℃ ~ 20℃ in Meizhou and east Guangdong, and 21℃ ~ 24℃ in other areas.
From the night of April 14 to April 15, moderate to heavy rain and localized torrential rain is forecast in north Guangdong, the middle and northern Pearl River Delta, and the northern part of East Guangdong. Cloudy skies with overcast spells and thundershowers are predicted elsewhere. During the day of April 15, the weather will gradually turn cloudy. Morning lows will be 16℃ ~ 19℃ in the northern areas of Shaoguan and Qingyuan, 22℃ ~ 24℃ in the southern coastal cities, and 18℃ ~ 22℃ in other places.
On April 16, most of the province is expected to be cloudy and clear, with a relatively large temperature difference between day and night. Morning lows will be 16℃ ~ 19℃ in the northern part of Guangdong, 20℃ ~ 23℃ in the southern coastal cities, and 17℃ ~ 20℃ in the rest of Guangdong.
