Southwesterly winds are forecast to sweep across Guangdong from the evening of March 29 to 31, bringing heavy rain, thunder, and hail.
On March 26, northern Guangdong will be cloudy with outbreaks of light rain, while the western part will be overcast with localized heavy rain. Cloudy and overcast skies are expected in the remaining areas.

On March 30, heavy to torrential rain will hit northern Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta. Spotty thundershowers are predicted to develop across the entire Pearl River Delta. Other regions will be cloudy with scattered thundershowers. Thunderstorms are possible with short-term gales and hail.
Heavy rain and storms will continue into March 31 in northern Guangdong and the Pearl River Delta. Other regions will witness thundershowers with localized heavy rain.
On April 1, there will be moderate rain in northern Guangdong, and light rain with localized heavy rain in the remaining areas.
April 2 will bring a decrease in the intensity of rainfall, though spotty thundershowers will still be possible.
