1st production equipment for ExxonMobil's project in Huizhou docked

ExxonMobil's multi-billion-dollar project in Huizhou, Guangdong, made significant progress, as its first production equipment, a primary fractionator, arrived at the Port of Huizhou on October 27th.

This 983-ton primary fractionator, as one of the most important parts in an ethylene plant, is tens of meter long, over ten meters in terms of both height and width, and now waiting to be installed at the heavy-cargo terminal of the Port of Huizhou.

As construction proceeds, the port is expecting other production equipment by the end of this year.

To produce performance polymers used in packaging, automotive and agricultural products, the construction of ExxonMobil’s chemical complex is divided into two phases and was launched last November. The annual revenue is expected to reach about 6.1 billion USD after the first phase is completed and put into production.
