Gatwick Airport, the second largest international airport in London, is located in the south of London, 45 kilometers away from the city center, with two terminals - one in the south and the other in the north. With the launch of the new route from Guangzhou to Gatwick, China Southern Airlines' flights in the UK have reached their highest level during its operation period.
To ensure smooth travel for passengers on the first flight, China Southern Airlines opened three check-in counters at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport prior to the flight's departure. They also set up check-in counters for group travelers and special traveler service counters based on peak passenger traffic. Moreover, they set up additional customs clearance service guide posts to guarantee efficient check-in and smooth customs clearance for passengers.
