Guangdong's exports to RCEP member countries up 8.7% in H1

Guangdong's exports to RCEP member countries surged by 8.7 percent in the first six month of 2022, according to the Guangdong Sub-administration of GACC.

It is 1.4 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of Guangdong's exports.

Since January 1, the RCEP has taken effect in 13 member countries except Indonesia and the Philippines. So far, it has brought tax benefits to the province’s 14.4 billion RMB worth of export and import goods.

In the past six months, the Guangdong Sub-administration of GACC introduced rules of origin, tariff reduction, and other key issues through "online + offline" promotion meetings and on-site service centers, to help enterprises make full use of RCEP policies to expand foreign trade.
