Nantou Ancient Town, Shenzhen (深圳南头古城)

With a history of over 1,700 years, Nantou Ancient City is honored as the "cultural origin of Shenzhen and Hong Kong". Here you can get a sense of walking into history through well-preserved ancient architecture, and enjoy live music shows, light shows, and art exhibitions.

Location: North of Nantou Flyover, Nanshan District, Shenzhen (深圳市南山区南头天桥北)

Gankeng Hakka Town, Shenzhen (深圳华侨城甘坑古镇)

As one of the top ten ancient towns in Shenzhen, Gankeng Hakka Town is like a maze consisting of narrow alleyways. Moreover, here you'll easily find some traditional Hakka courtyards, tea shops, and local restaurants to have a taste of the charm of this ancient town.

Hi City, Zhuhai (珠海海韵城大剧院文旅综合体)

The Hi City is an offshore leisure and recreation commercial complex, supporting the neighboring scallop-shaped Zhuhai Opera House by providing cultural services under the theme of "Happy Island, Artistic Sea & Romantic Love." The interior of Hi City features different themes and categories such as food, culture and art, movies, entertainment, sports, and landscape, providing visitors a delicate and refreshing experience.

Yitian Hakka cultural tourism area, Meizhou (梅州市客都人家文化旅游区)

Here you can try intangible cultural heritage Hakka food and local snacks, visit museums and bookstores, dress up in traditional costumes, and watch Hakka traditional puppet shows and stage plays, immersing yourself in the charming Hakka culture. Yitian Hakka also offers monthly nighttime theme festivals, such as the pomelo harvest festival, the Halloween parade, and the electric music festival.

Liaobu Xiangshi cultural tourism nighttime cluster area, Dongguan (东莞寮步香市文旅夜间集聚区)

Liaobu Town has more than 20 restaurants and lots of comfortable hotels and B&Bs, providing tourists with a full range of night out services. A lot of recreational, cultural tourism, and sports venues locate here, among which the China Agarwood Culture Museum is one of the highlights. The boot fairs here are also recommended.

Wuyi Overseas Chinese Plaza, Jiangmen (江门市环五邑华侨广场商圈)

This is the most prosperous place for nighttime consumption in Jiangmen, where you can find large shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and bookstores. Various shopping festivals have been held here, including the Jiangmen tea and beverage festival, foodie carnival, and New Year's shopping festival. Visitors can enjoy performances and costume shows around the plaza.

Nighttime cluster areas of Beijiang River bank, Qingyuan (清远市清城区北江两岸夜间文化和旅游消费集聚区)

It's a nice choice to wander at museums, cultural centers, libraries and Hanfu experience centers along the riverbank and enjoy the breeze. In recent years, some regular performances have been held in shopping malls, plazas, and parks in the evening here.
