On March 22, the "2025 Earth Hour" China's main event took place in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The event featured exhibition, knowledge sharing session and multifunctional Interaction, which attracted many local residents. Experts shared insights on environmental protection, while participants learned about low-carbon living through engaging activities.

As night fell, landmarks in Hengqin and Macao simultaneously turned off their lights. The Beijing Angelic Choir and Macao student choirs performed in a heartfelt tribute to the Earth, and light painting artists collaborated with locals to create pieces symbolizing "Harmony Between Humans and Nature." The event emphasized Hengqin's commitment to green development and promoted environmental awareness throughout the Greater Bay Area.
