Torrential rain accompanied by lightning, high gales and hail is forecast to hit North Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta from April 4 to 5, according to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
On April 6, the central-southern part of the province is expected to see moderate to heavy rain with a chance of localized torrential rain. The rainfall will decrease from April 7.

On April 5, the northern Pearl River Delta, Shaoguan, Qingyuan, Heyuan and Meizhou are to experience rainstorms, with possible short-term heavy rain, thunderstorms, high gales in some areas. The rest of the province will see thundershowers and localized heavy rain. Lows in the morning will be 14℃ to 17℃ in Shaoguan and Qingyuan, 22℃ to 25℃ in West Guangdong, Pearl River Delta and East Guangdong, 18℃ to 21℃ in other areas.
On April 6, there will be moderate to heavy rain in the central-southern Pearl River Delta and East Guangdong. Other regions will experience short-term heavy rain and gales. Lows in the morning will be 13℃ to 16℃ in Shaoguan and Qingyuan, 20℃ to 24℃ in South Guangdong, 17℃ to 19℃ in other areas.
On April 7, southern Guangdong will see showers and overcast skies. The rest areas will be cloudy to overcast. Lows in the morning are going to be 12℃ to 15℃ in North Guangdong, 19℃ to 22℃ in the southern coastal areas, 16℃ to 18℃ in other areas.
