During the National Day holiday, Hengqin offers a romantic ocean vacation, a delightful culinary festival, and various cultural performances.
This year, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom will have a festive new look for the holiday, creating a vibrant celebratory atmosphere.
Visitors can join the Super Mammoth parade, wave little red flags, and participate in colorful celebrations. Thrill-seekers can challenge themselves on exciting roller coasters and watch various marine animals like whale sharks, dolphins, and sea lions, while a youth choir performs. Kids can learn and play through special science activities.
In the evening, the National Day marine fireworks show will light up the sky with hundreds of fireworks and a display of 300 drones showcasing the national flag and more. Every day, five lucky visitors will have the chance to participate in launching the fireworks themselves.
During the holiday, the Chimelong Spaceship theme park has undergone significant upgrades, featuring a massive 400,000-square-meter indoor amusement park with 35 immersive rides and 150,000 rare marine creatures.
The Killer Whale Science Theater (虎鲸科普剧场) will debut, and the Spaceship Fantasy Grand Parade will bring carnival-style festivities.
The Macao International Cultural Food Festival (Hengqin Station) and the 5th Guangdong-Macao Cultural Food Tour will take place from September 30 to October 7 at the Hengqin Lijun Pangdu Plaza.
Visitors can enjoy authentic Macao dishes and world delicacies like pork chop buns, Portuguese tarts, and beef offal, along with global flavors and creative stalls from across China. There will also be a beverage area with eight bars offering delightful drinks.

The Lionsgate Entertainment World, spanning 22,000 square meters, features attractions based on popular Hollywood films like Twilight, The Hunger Games, and Now You See Me, utilizing VR, AR, and 3D technology for immersive experiences. Besides entertainment, the Innovation Square also offers gourmet cuisine.
From October 1 to 5, Sumlodol Camping Town will collaborate with Beijing's magic troupe to present a whimsical puppet show "The Four Divine Beasts of the Classic of Mountains and Seas"(四神兽补天), blending ancient mythology with modern magical elements, offering visitors a fantastical journey through new Chinese aesthetics.
The park will host daily 45-minute stage performances and two dreamlike parades, along with activities like ancient-style markets, pottery throwing, archaeological treasure hunts, and intangible cultural heritage dyeing. There will also be sunset concerts, water play, and climbing fun.
