The 2023 Understanding China Conference (UCC) kicked off in Guangzhou on December 2.
"And here, China is leading by far. It's amazing to see that more than 50 percent of robots existing in the world are now invested by and working in China," said Peter Jungen, Chairman of Peter Jungen Holding GmbH, during the session on the topic of AI and the Future of Humanity.
The question is, does AI pose an existential risk to human beings? According to Peter, the idea that there is a jobless AI future, of course, is not going to happen. The idea that someone is going to do the work for us and we have a division of work in the future where humans can earn money while someone else does the work with AI. That is not going to work.
