Xpeng Aeroht unveiled the world’s first fully electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) flying car in Guangzhou on October 24. According to Xpeng, the flying car is available for both road driving and flying and has completed its maiden flight.

The flying system is equipped and folded on the top of the car. In driving mode, it’s about the size of a regular vehicle and available for driving on the road, according to the developer of Xpeng Aeroht. When transforming to flying mode, it can take off and fly over traffic congestion, obstacles, and even rivers.
It is not the final shape of the car, it will be further optimized, said by the company.
