In mid-March, following the close of the London Book Fair, Southern Publishing & Media, a publishing company based in Guangdong, China, donated over 120 types of books to the library of The Netherhall School, Cambridge City, UK.
This initiative aims to enrich cultural resources for the Chinese community and enthusiasts of the Chinese language in Cambridge, promoting cultural exchange and communication.

Among the selected collection of books from Guangdong, there are "Lingnan Culture Reader Series (《岭南文化读本系列》)," "Understanding China: Telling the Story of Five Thousand Years of Chinese Civilization through Cultural Relics (《读懂中国:用文物讲述中华上下五千年》)" which narrates the story of Chinese civilization, "DeepSeek Application Expert: From Beginner to Master in 7 Days (《DeepSeek应用能手:7天从入门到精通》)" which aligns with the trend of contemporary technological advancements, as well as the multilingual editions of the poetic literary works "My Altay" and "Distant Sunflower Fields."

Once these books hit the shelves, they were met with eager excitement from many Cambridge residents. Books have now become a bridge for cultural exchange between China and the UK, breaking through time and borders.
