Nan'ao Subdistrict in Dapeng New District, located in the southeast corner of Shenzhen, boasts a coastline of 65 kilometers. Recently, Nan'ao became the first Cittaslow (or "slow city") among China's first-tier cities and the first in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and has unveiled the first batch of "slow city" travel routes during the awarding ceremony.
Among them, in the Luzui-Yangmeikeng area of Dongshan Community, you can experience the most beautiful hiking and jogging trails between mountains and the sea.
Route 1: Judiaosha Beach → Dapeng Yacht Club → Langqi Yacht Club → Rainbow Promenade → Yangmeikeng Beach → Tianrantan (Nature Pond)
Starting from the golden beach of Judiaosha, you will feel warm and delicate sands beneath your feet and a mirror-like blue sea before your eyes.
Meanwhile, you can also stop by Tianrantan to take a deep breath of fresh air.
Route 2: Entrance of Dongshan and Luzui Tourist Area → Luzui Greenway → Lujiaotai → Luzui Beach → Luzui Villa → Cliff Restaurant → Luzui Coastal Plank Road → Mermaid Cave
The Luzui Greenway, stretching for nearly 5 kilometers with winding contours, offers a breathtaking view of the blue sea meeting the sky, making it an ideal place for jogging.
At the end of the greenway, visitors can walk slowly on Luzui Beach, treading on the beach and chasing after the waves. They can also go forward to encounter Luzui Villa, where they can sit quietly in the Cliff Restaurant, enjoying a feast for both their taste buds and eyes, or follow the scenic plank road on the cliff to explore the mysterious Mermaid Cave.
