China Southern Airlines has launched its first direct route between Beijing Daxing International Airport and Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan—marking the first nonstop service between the two capitals operated by a Chinese carrier. On June 16 at 12:00, flight CZ6051 departed from Beijing with 173 passengers on board.

The route operates twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, under flight numbers CZ6051/6052. Departures from Beijing are scheduled at 17:00, arriving in Dushanbe at 21:00 after a seven-hour journey. Return flights depart at 22:30, reaching Beijing at 07:20 the following day.

The maiden flight was operated by a Boeing 787, and future flights are set to use Boeing 737-8 aircraft.

For the 2025 summer-autumn season, China Southern Airlines will operate seven domestic routes from Beijing Daxing International Airport, each with over eight daily flights, including services to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Urumqi, Changsha, Harbin, and Guiyang. The airline will also run 16 international and regional direct routes from Daxing, covering cities such as London, Amsterdam, and Moscow. Among these are seven routes to BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) countries and regions, including Almaty and Bishkek. In total, the airline’s network from Daxing will serve over 65 destinations, with 206 weekly international flights.
