According to customs statistics, Huizhou's import and export volume reached 94.38 billion yuan, rising by 8.5% year-on-year. Among them, exports were 50.6 billion yuan, up 4.2%, and imports were 43.78 billion yuan, up 13.8%.
Huizhou's foreign trade during this period was marked by strong growth in general trade, a surge in import and export activity by private enterprises, and electromechanical products accounting for nearly 80% of total exports.

In Q1, Huizhou's general trade volume rose 25.3% to 45.32 billion yuan. Private enterprises—mainly small and medium-sized—contributed 45.04 billion yuan in trade, up 17.2%, while foreign-invested enterprises recorded 46.61 billion yuan, a 9% increase.
The city's top five trading partners in Q1 were China's Taiwan Province, ASEAN, the EU, the U.S., and South Korea, with total trade reaching 54.89 billion yuan. Trade with China's Taiwan Province increased by 10.5%, ASEAN by 6.5%, the U.S. by 11.7%, and South Korea by 43.4%, while trade with the EU dipped slightly by 0.5%.
As a national hub for the electronic information industry, Huizhou posted strong growth in the sector in Q1. Electromechanical product exports rose 6.1% to 39.47 billion yuan, while imports increased 12.7% to 31.81 billion yuan.
