Starting from November 3, a powerful cold front will affect most regions of China, finally breaking the warmer-than-average temperatures that have persisted since mid-October.

From November 4 onwards, temperatures in most areas will gradually drop to below-normal levels from north to south. Regions north of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will experience temperature drops of 6 to 10°C, with localized areas in central Inner Mongolia and northern North China seeing drops as high as 12°C.
Beginning on November 5, temperatures in many southern regions will also fall to below-normal levels, with maximum temperatures dropping below 20°C, marking a significant cooling.
While northerners are preparing for winter, Guangdong is still enjoying its cooler season. It's the most cost-effective time of the year for Guangdong residents, as there's no need to use air conditioners, drying machines, or dehumidifiers. However, in reality, central and southern Guangdong have not yet truly entered autumn.

According to Guangdong Weather, in November, compared to the same period in the past 30 years, precipitation in the northern part of Guangdong and the Leizhou Peninsula will be 10% to 20% higher, while the rest of the province will see a 10% to 20% decrease. The average temperature in most areas will be slightly higher by 0.1 to 0.5°C, and the average minimum temperature will also be slightly higher by 0.1 to 0.5°C.
There will be three major rainfall events in the month, roughly occurring on: November 4-5 (moderate to heavy rain, locally heavy to very heavy rain), November 15-16 (light to moderate rain, locally heavy rain), and November 23-25 (light to moderate rain).
There will be four main cold front events in the month, roughly occurring on: November 4-6 (moderate to weak), November 11-12 (weak), November 15-17 (moderate), and November 23-25 (moderate to weak). Due to the cold fronts, northern regions may experience frosty winds for 4 to 5 days in the early part of the first ten days and the latter part of the middle ten days of the month.
The first cold front of November will affect Guangdong from November 4, causing the daily average temperature to drop by about 3°C, making the weather feel significantly cooler.
It is forecasted that Guangdong will continue to experience dry weather for the next three days, with some western counties experiencing rainfall on November 3-4. Additionally, due to the supplementary influence of a weak cold front, winds over Guangdong's sea areas will generally maintain speeds of 5-6 meters per second (m/s) with gusts reaching 7 m/s; at certain times, winds may reach speeds of 6-7 m/s with gusts of 8 m/s. From November 5 onwards, wind speeds will further increase. Most of Guangdong is sunny and dry, so attention should be paid to forest fire prevention.
