On the morning of December 1, traffic was back to normal on Guangzhou Dadao. On the same day, Guangzhou Bridge resumed operation and met its first morning rush hour, after Haizhu District optimized its COVID-19 control measures on November 30, including lifting temporary control on the bridge.
Although the temporary controls are lifted in many areas in the city, the authority reminds the citizens to wear a mask when going out.
Traffic peak also came again at the metro station.
Luo Xi Bridge resumed operation at 8 a.m. December 1. During the morning traffic peak, vehicles passed quickly on the bridge connecting Panyu District and Haizhu District.
On Tianhe District's Huangpu Dadao, people were getting on buses and metros to work, some roads became congested due to the increasing traffic flow. On Tiyu Xi Road, some breakfast restaurants have resumed dine-in services.
