It is forecast that Guangdong will welcome stable weather during the coming National Day holiday, mainly sunny to cloudy with generally high temperatures. There is no trace of heavy rainfall or typhoon, according to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
From September 30 to October 2, with the intensified subtropical high and the weakened southeast airflow, precipitation will tend to decrease in Guangdong. Most of the province will be cloudy to sunny. From October 3 to October 4, it will be sunny and hot with highs in central and north Guangdong up to 35 ℃ to 36 ℃. From October 5 to October 7, scattered thundershowers will bring a slight drop in temperature. Specific forecasts are as follows.
From October 1 to October 2, west Guangdong and coastal areas west of the Pearl River Estuary will see thunderstorms with localized heavy rain. The rest of the province will be sunny to cloudy with localized thundershowers. Some places in north Guangdong will see highs over 35 ℃.
From October 3 to October 4, most of the province will be sunny to cloudy with localized thundershowers. The highs will reach 36 ℃ in central and north Guangdong.
From October 5 to October 7, most of the province will be sunny with scattered thundershowers and localized heavy rain. The highs will go down slightly, with only 35 ℃ seen in certain places in central and north Guangdong on October 5.
Guangzhou is expected to greet consecutive pleasant days, mainly cloudy to sunny with scattered thundershowers. Particularly, October 6 will see an obvious decrease in temperature.
