The 20th International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), held from May 23 to 27, is expected to become an unmissable cultural feast. Spanning approximately 160,000 square meters, the fair features eight major exhibition halls, over 120,000 cultural products, and more than 4,000 industrial projects. Visitors can experience fun culture and cutting-edge technology from around the world.
Guangdong Pavilion leads the way
The Guangdong Pavilion, under the theme of Leading the Way in High-Quality Cultural Industry Development, will be a standout feature of this year's ICIF. The pavilion will display products from 381 enterprises across 21 cities, as well as contributions from central cultural enterprises and exhibitors from Hong Kong and Macao. It will be located in Hall 13, called "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural Industry Innovation Exhibition." This section will feature 20,000 cultural products, highlighting Guangdong's pivotal role in the cultural industry.
Highlight 1: large model industry application hall
A key attraction within the Guangdong Pavilion is the "Large Model Industry Application Hall," which will showcase eight representative large models. Among them, the "Pengcheng Mind" from Pengcheng Laboratory is the world's largest Chinese general AI model. This hall will demonstrate the technological features, application scenarios, and industry empowerment of these models, reflecting the future trends and prospects of technological innovation in Guangdong's cultural life.
Highlight 2: cultural and tourism integration
The Guangdong Comprehensive Exhibition Hall will have 21 cities to present their cultural products, showcasing Guangdong's efforts in promoting Lingnan culture, supporting environmental projects, and building a beautiful Guangdong. Projects such as "Modern Urban Civilization," "Lingnan Culture," "Coastal Tourism," "World Gourmet Hub," and "Global Theme Park Hub," will be launched one after another, highlighting the unique achievements of cultural and tourism industry.
Highlight 3: innovative consumption and transactions
The fair will promote cultural consumption through both online and offline platforms. The online trading platform "Yuewen Purchase" will connect with major e-commerce platforms like JD, Taobao, Tmall, and WeChat Mini Programs, along with popular channels such as Douyin, Kuaishou, and Xiaohongshu. This integration aims to boost transactions of intangible cultural heritage products, popular domestic IP derivative cultural products, and specialty agricultural products from the Greater Bay Area.
