To facilitate access to public security government services, the "Ping An Ting" mailbox has added a new section of "Convenient Police Affairs". It covers traffic management, entry and exit, household administration, waterway registration and information reporting, prisons, technical protection, and legal services.
The new version added the login entrance for residents to write to the directors of municipal bureau of public security in 21 cities across Guangdong.
Type "平安厅" in the WeChat search interface or click "平安厅" in the menu bar of "广东公安" WeChat official account, and residents can directly get to the mail page with one click, which is more convenient and efficient.
Statistics show that since the opening of the mailbox in May, 2021, Guangdong has handled a total of 121,000 letters from residents, with a 100 percent response rate, and 97.6% of the affairs requested in the letters settled. A total of 39,000 urgent and difficult problems that residents awaited for solutions have been solved. Moreover, letters from the residents provided clues to help crack 5,549 cases, rectify a number of law enforcement problems, and promote the introduction of 146 normative documents on law enforcement.
