Xiutai Bio-Tech, a new project headed by Dr. Liu Xinqi, an expert of China's 1,000 Talents Plan, settled down in the Hengqin New Area on August 13, Zhuhai Daily reported.
The small molecule peptide, researched and developed by Dr. Liu, can delay muscle atrophy and enhance the physical strength and immunity of the elderly.
China's 1,000 Talents Plan aims to bring in top overseas talents to the country.
"We chose Hengqin to settle down, because we are attracted by the blueprint of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hengqin's development," said Dr. Liu.
Statistics show that Hengqin has so far attracted 46 such experts under the plan.
