Coming up this April, the 131st China Import and Export Fair will be held from the 15th to 24th. According to Foshan Bureau of Commerce on April 7th, 398 enterprises from Foshan will appear on the event, as staged on 1445 booths in total. Among them, there will be 458 brand booths and 987 general booths. In terms of the number of exhibitors, Foshan continues to rank high in the whole province.

Long reputable for products like home appliances, building materials, furniture and lighting, Foshan enterprises have fostered both a strong home and foreign market over the years. Major enterprises like Midea, Galanz, Chigo, Xinbao, Vanward, and Eagleceramics, who have been actively involved at Canton Fair, are planning on building a bigger international market these couple of years.
Since 2022, despite the ongoing intricate pandemic, Foshan still continued to strike steady growth in foreign trade. According to customs statistics, in the first two months of 2022, Foshan has reached 127.15 billion yuan in imports and exports, which makes for a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. During this time frame, exports in Foshan have topped 111.46 billion yuan, which represents an increase of 1.9%, and imports have topped 15.69 billion yuan, which represents an increase of 7.6%.
