Rocio, China Market Specialist of Peru's Exports and Tourism Promotion Board presented Peruvian civilization at the roadshowPeru held a tourism road show at Sofitel Hotel, Guangzhou on Thursday, which was the second stop in China after Beijing.
“Last year more than 31 thousand tourists from China visited Peru, increased by 22%. Guangdong was among the main sources of tourists in China travelling to Peru so the road show in Guangzhou is very important”, says Rocio Florian, China Market Specialist of Peru's Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru). “This year, Peru aims to entice 20% more Chinese visitors ”.
According to Rocio, as of September 2016 Peru simplified the visa applying for Chinese citizens. And those with residency or short-stay eligible visas for the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and the European Schengen Area are allowed to enter Peru without a Peruvian visa.
