Development of new ‘Nieuwe Bunders’ business park offers at least 500 new jobs

The Nieuwe Bunders business park in Limburg is being developed as a joint venture. It will be located across from the Oude Bunders business park on Rijksweg in Maasmechelen.

The unique location of the park close to the exit and entry ramps for the E314 motorway and with direct connections to Flanders, Liège, Dutch Limburg and the German Ruhr area is guaranteed to attract new economic activity. At least 500 jobs will ultimately be created at Nieuwe Bunders, an opportunity of immense value for employment in the Maasland region.

The new business park will be 74 hectares in size and has tremendous potential, especially due to its strategic location. The Limburg investment company LRM is taking its role in the development very seriously and its investments will help make the Nieuwe Bunders a regional business park that further stimulates the local economy.

Tremendous boost for Maasland

The development of the regional business park Nieuwe Bunders will have a positive effect on employment in the region. Based on an occupancy rate of 50% of the available properties and an employment standard of at least 15 persons per developed hectare, at least 500 jobs will be generated by the development of Nieuwe Bunders.

The goal is to create a quality and sustainable business park with high-performing utilities and high-end facilities for companies. Candidate companies will receive full support in establishing their operations here.
