On November 12 to 13, TAO Dance Theater will perform its latest work "11" at the Guangzhou Opera House. It is the 11th work of the Theater's "Numerical Series", as well as the longest one.

The performance consists of 11 parts, which are linked in succession by solos, duos, trios and groups of various numbers. Dancers' lower body movements have been choreographed, including their ways of walking, their turns and steps, but their upper bodies, ranging from the spine to the shoulders, elbows, wrists and heads, will be improvised by the dancers themselves according to their emotions.

The latest work enables the creation of electronic music, incorporating Chinese gong chimes, vocals and symphony. Moreover, the performance has gained a more professional team in the design and production of costumes since Duan Ni and Tao Ye, Artistic Directors of the TAO Dance Theater, established their own costume brand this year.
