The 2023 China Equestrian Jumping Year-end Finals concluded on January 14 at the Huangcun Sports Training Center in Guangdong Province. As a two-star International Equestrian Federation CSI competition, the event was hosted by the Chinese Equestrian Association, with a total prize money of 1 million yuan.

As the first FEI star event in China in 2024, the two-day competition attracted more than 180 horses and over 320 rider-horse combinations from nearly 30 clubs.
"I am very pleased to see so many young riders participating in low-level competitions," said Huang Qifang, vice president of the International Equestrian Federation, adding that they would continue to promote equestrian competitions among young people and support China in hosting more international events. He also praised the development of Chinese equestrian sports. "In addition to achieving good results in intercontinental competitions and winning the championship at the Hangzhou Asian Games, the Chinese equestrian team also qualified for the Paris Olympics."

Belgian rider Patrik Spits won the championship in the FEI two-star 145CM Grand Prix. Zhang Yong came in second place, and Olympic rider Li Yaofeng secured third place.
In addition to the exciting competitions, the event organizing committee also created a "time and space corridor" that records many historical moments of Chinese equestrian sports. Additionally, the "Dreams as Horses" carnival area also provides a space for entertainment, communication, and social interaction for the audience.
In the future, the China Equestrian Jumping Year-end Finals will become a signature event of the Chinese Equestrian Association and will be held annually.
