GBA City Cycling Challenge to start

The 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area City Cycling Challenge will be held in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou from March 2 to 3.

This is China's first amateur road cycling event in 2024, which is divided into two parts: the cycling activity and the cycling challenge, with a total of about 1,300 people participating.

The cycling activity will be held on March 2, covering a total distance of approximately 100 kilometers. The activity route passes through many scenic spots and check-in points, such as Licheng Street, Zhengguo Old Street, the century-old banyan tree on Zengjiang Street, 1978 Movie Town, Nanshan Ancient Scenic Area, and other tourist attractions.

The Cycling Challenge will be held on March 3. The event will focus on lap racing, and the track will be closed throughout. The event is divided into three categories: the men's road elite group, the men's road mass group, and the women's open group. Players in each group will compete fiercely around the 5-kilometer track. The event attracted many teams from Hong Kong and Macao, including OSSA JANITON CYCLING TEAM, SHKP Supernova Cycling Team, RWA, etc., as well as many high-level competitive teams from the Chinese mainland, such as SAVA Team, Baoan Foshan Trek Team, and SAVA Meiheju Women's Power Team.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area City Cycling Challenge is a sports event brand in the Greater Bay Area. This event not only provides players with opportunities to compete with each other but also promotes the deep integration of urban sports, culture, and tourism industries in the Greater Bay Area.
