On the morning of December 8, the Guangzhou Marathon will commence at the Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center, with 26,000 runners competing in the 42.195-kilometer marathon.
Since its inception in 2012, the Guangzhou Marathon has gone through 10 years. The Grandview Mall will partner with the Guangzhou Marathon for the fourth time since 2019, bringing an unprecedented experience to the residents.

Participants in the race can enjoy a 50% discount on tickets for Grandview Aquarium, Grandview Rainforest, Grandview Penguin Snow World, and Grandview Cyber Sports Space for two people; tickets for Grandview Museum of Natural Science and Grandview Science Museum at less than half price for one person; a 20% discount on regular consumption at the restaurants in Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Tianhe; and various discounts for over 22 dining establishments such as Tao Tao Ju, Rongyi, Hakka Yu, and Shandong Town Restaurant.

In addition, the Guangzhou Marathon Expo will be held from December 5 to December 7 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex - Canton Fair Complex Area B, Hall 11.1. The exhibition includes professional running supplies, medical fitness products, fashion products, and official souvenirs.
Participants will receive their race materials at the Guangzhou Marathon Expo, including a gear bag, T-shirt, bib, bib pins, anti-inflammatory balm, Vaseline, lactose-free milk, salt pills (2 packs per person), chicken biscuits (local snack), specialty pastries (mung bean cakes), and a pocket guide (race manual), among others.
This year, for the first time, the Guangzhou Marathon Expo is open to residents. All can make online reservations to enter the expo, view the exhibits, and purchase items they like.

As the event approaches, the marathon route supplies have also been unveiled, including bananas, seedless tangerines or oranges, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, energy gels, sweetheart cakes (local snacks), crispy rice chocolate, and edible ice.
Moreover, the post-race distribution of materials will include birthday bouquets, a surprise for participants who have their birthday on the day of the race. Additionally, the organizing committee has arranged for the post-race mailing of "sub-three-hour" finisher shirts to elite runners, the best accolade for high-level runners.
Furthermore, the finisher package also includes new benefits specifically for female runners; the event will also introduce Guangzhou's specialty food and tea services during the race.
