Located in the west of Guangdong, Zhanjiang is an important production base of cane sugar in China. Suixi County is situated on the Leizhou Peninsula, boasting flat terrain with excellent sunshine, temperature and water conditions. It has ranked first for 16 years in China in terms of sugar cane planting area, per unit area yield and total output, so it is known as "the Sweetest County in China".
